HUDSON YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING 2011 News- Volume 10 (October 25, 2011)

____________________________________________________________

Cheerleading:

As outlined in our email of earlier this week, we are very excited to report that both of our program’s cheerleading squads qualified for Regional Competition by placing 3

This exciting development represents the second straight year that both of our squads have advanced to Regionals, and we are thrilled about the winning tradition being established in our Cheer program.

At the Division 12 level, Coach Jennifer Metivier’s squad took home their second trophy of the competition season, in the Large, Red bracket.

Coach Tara Bauer’s Division 10 squad, blew us away with their fantastic performance; also placing in the Large, Red category. What is particularly impressive about our Division 10 squad is that it actually consists of girls ranging in age from 7-10 years old; where most Division 10 squads consist exclusively of 9-10 year olds.

The performances given by both squads are a true testament to all the hard work that has been put in, since August, and we’re excited to see them advance even further, when they compete at Regionals on November 27

Thank you to all the Division 10 & Division 12 Cheerleaders, Coaches, and Parents for all your time and hard work. Your efforts & accomplishments make us proud!

Congratulations to all involved, and best of luck at Regionals!

Consisting of only sixteen (16) players, this squad showed up every week, strapped on their helmets & got out on the field to play.
